You guys know I LOVE a good set of Texas hill country engagement photos! Chris and Justin met about three years ago in Tucson where they were both working. Justin is an astronomer (then completing graduate work at the University of Arizona), and Chris was working in education (what a pair, right?!). Chris says their engagement story wasn’t super exciting (no big surprises or flash mobs!), but it’s still just my style. It happened over dinner at home. They moved to Austin about a year ago, after Justin accepted a postdoctoral research position at UT Austin.

They’re Stonehouse Villa wedding will be relaxed and casual. Their focus will be more on enjoying the experience than on coordinating a big or overly traditional ceremony. As much as it’s a time to celebrate their wedding, they said they’re also looking forward to gathering their family and friends – most of whom will be coming from out of town. They’re just hoping their guests to enjoy a party in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, how amazing is that?!
