In the Northwest corner of San Francisco, you will find one of my favorite hidden gems: the Legion of Honor (one of my favorite San Francisco engagement photo locations!). It’s nearby Land’s End and allows you to peek at the iconic Golden Gate Bridge just across the bay. It’s no secret why Legion of Honor wedding and engagement photos are some of my favorite, favorite, favorite!
The white marble makes my heart skip a beat (and reminds me a lot of this session in Washington, D.C.!) – the classic architecture with the stunning trees, succulents and flowers all over the property – this combines culture and nature, perfect for the couple who wants it all (like most engaged Marin County couples do!).
Couples often come to me because they’re looking for those bright, clean, crisp photos that reflect the joy of getting married – the first step in doing so is picking a location that will give you the look you’re after. 🙂
Whether you’re setting up your ceremony in the stunning courtyard or cozying up for engagement photos in the white columns, it’s easy to get lost spending the whole day here. Add in the stretching green lawn that’s littered with daisies and we’re in BUSINESS.
I took the day to explore the area with my best friend and fellow photographer, Holly Marie, while she was in town in San Francisco. Sneak a peek at what we found!
