Tamara and David were so much fun to shoot with! I loved watching them just play around and be silly — enjoying the little moments together during their golden hour engagement photos. I was grinning from ear to ear the whole time!
It doesn’t hurt that we were at one of my favorite engagement session locations — Bull Creek Park in Austin, Texas. Bull Creek is such a beautiful area, especially at the golden hour. It’s so outdoorsy and romantic, and these two weren’t afraid to get their feet a little wet to take full advantage of the scenery!
These adventurous love birds met on Birthright, a non-profit program that gives young adults the opportunity to visit Israel. That was back in December 2015 and the two hit it off instantly. It was one of those “when you know, you know” moments, which didn’t surprise me one bit after seeing them together during our session.
With Tamara finishing graduate school at UT in Austin and David working in New York City, the two talked and visited each other at every opportunity. Long distance can be tough, but they knew that they had something special and that it was worth it. In fact, Tamara says she knew she wanted to marry David after just three heart-stirring months together.
Let me tell you, anyone attending the wedding is in for a real treat because these two are a blast! Their special day will take place at Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa, a gorgeous venue in Austin known for its green rolling hills and Texas-sized hospitality. It’s perfect for couples who want that “getting away from it all” vibe at their wedding, without actually having to travel far from home. The day is being planned by Simply XO Events, who are experts at creating customized and emotive events where every little detail is taken care of.
I simply can’t get enough of this duo and their playful golden hour engagement photos! If you’re looking for more inspiration, you can find another one of my favorite Bull Creek engagement sessions here.
