Molly and Brad’s downtown Austin rooftop engagement photos make me smile SO hard! Molly and I have known each other now since 2013 when we met through the internet as PR girls (very millennial of us, I know!) when we found out that Molly went to school with my best friend Chelsea! Then we proceeded to both adopt corgis, then take jobs at Edelman and W2O Group with each other before I quit to go full time with photography! Now we’re both getting married! Talk about full circle.
The morning of the session started out a little rough with locked keys in the car, and several closed parking garages later (thanks 2020), we landed on THIS location and boy…does it feel like it was meant to be!
As for a little bit of back story, Brad and Molly met on Hinge! Brad messaged her about playing with her corgi, Chloe (come to find out he doesn’t even like dogs! But over time, him and Chloe have become best buds). Their first date was on a Wednesday at a local tex-mex joint where they shared queso and he spilled salsa on his shirt. After that, they spent five days in a row together at his baseball game, Zilker Park, a pool day with his friends, etc. and they were basically inseparable from the get go.
When I asked Brad how he knew he wanted to marry Molly he said, last Fall, Molly went to work in New York for almost eight weeks. It taught us that we could make it through anything and reminded us we actually liked each other.
In true 2020 Pandemic fashion, Brad proposed on a Zoom call with nearly 50 of their friends and family. He came home and told Molly that he had to get on a Zoom call with the other football coaches to strategize for their upcoming game, but really he was busy getting everyone on a call so he could propose.
They are getting married this March (ahhhhh!), and I’m so excited to share their engagement photos!!
