Chelsea and Chris made the trip out to Big Sur for their Carmel engagement photos all the way from Colorado!! They brought their sweet puppy Brewer along and we braved the chilly Pacific Ocean winds to capture what can only be described as pure magic. I love the small touch of Chelsea sporting a “Carmel” needlepoint sweater, too – such a sweet nod to one of their favorite places in the world.

Chris & Chelsea and we have been together now over 5 years. They both grew up in Los Gatos, CA and went to the same high school, but didn’t meet until after college. Fun fact: Their families go back to my dad’s little league days.

Wanting a piece of land for themselves, they bought a couple outside of Denver and made the trek out from the Bay Area just a week after getting engaged.

This sweet couple found me through another PVP couple – Kaelynn + Steven – who’s wedding we shot this past May. And, in 7 months (about a year after K + S), they will officially become husband and wife after hosting their wedding at Gardener Ranch in Carmel Valley.

I can’t wait to celebrate with both you, C + C!
