Austin engagement photos don’t get any more special than shooting them on South Congress (that’s where we shot our own engagement photos, even) — then add in Laura and Zach, the most perfect weather, and pizza and you have the very best session a photographer could have.

Laura and I met by complete happenstance! One of my brides Blaire was at her salon before her engagement session, and was chatting about her session later that day. Laura overheard and reached out to me on Instagram since she herself just got engaged. It was kismet — now not only am I their wedding photographer, but Laura is my hair colorist.

When we met up for their engagement photos, I immediately fell in love with her and Zach’s sense of laid back style, their easy demeanor with each other, and the endless belly laughs we shared together. Not to mention they only had one priority for their session: to end with pizza and beer. AMEN SIS. I don’t often feel compelled to hang out after my work is finished since often my couples dash to a dinner reservation, but together we all chatted until the sun went down.
