Austin Club Wedding | Jacqueline + Anthony

I’m so happy the day has finally come to share Jacqueline + Anthony‘s Austin Club wedding! The Austin Club wedding was the perfect backdrop for this old school glam day. From the Gatsby-era gold bridesmaid dresses and Jacqueline’s custom lace gown, to the downtown Austin venue with dripping glass chandeliers and the 1963 Bentley getaway card. It was decadent, but not over the top. It was so much fun to see Jacqueline and Anthony let go after a year of planning. 🙂
What sticks out most to me about the day was the ceremony! At Austin Life Chapel, not only did these two pledge their love to one another, but we laughed and laughed at the officiant’s humorous account of how these two met- working in the luxury shoe department of Nordstrom. I will never forget when all the guests erupted in laughed when the pastor say if Jacqueline has any problems, she could return Anthony to Nordstrom, especially since they have a generous return policy. I nearly died from laughing…whoops.
Unlike some photographers, I don’t define my work by the type of venues or styles I will work – I click with the people first and then fall in love with the day they imagine for themselves second. I have to say though, it was SO much fun to capture the glitz, the glam and the love these two have for each other.
