Shooting in Austin, it’s already SUCH a treat to shoot somewhere different, especially if it’s meaningful for my couple. That’s why shooting these Caldwell engagement photos for Jenna and Ryan was so special to me. We got to go to where these two babes got engaged ANDDDDD they brought Spud – their adorable corgi. This is Ryan’s family’s land and from the moment I pulled up (early, of course!) they were so welcoming. I even got to meet Ryan’s parents and Jenna’s sister, making me even more excited for their big day.

Ryan and Jenna have been together since they were teens – true life high school sweethearts. They’ve known each other even longer than that, but now they’ve hit the 10 year dating mark and there’s no looking back!!

Ryan proposed to Jenna at the stroke of midnight on New Years Eve, surrounded by a close knit group of their family and friends. They were around a bonfire staying warm after a rainy day, as Jenna says – “I was covered in mud and wearing camo, 2 things I never thought I’d be wearing while getting engaged LOL!”

These two are tying the knot at one of my FAVORITE places next year: Cayonwood Ridge with two of my favorite planners at Simply XO Events! Ah!!! 🙂
