Though Priscilla and Evans Villa Montalvo elopement was last minute in nature, doesn’t mean it was any less special. We celebrated their nuptials on a winter Monday, which means we have the grounds completely to ourselves – the only other humans we saw were casual passerbys strolling the neighborhood and wishing the newlyweds congratulations as they walked by!

Our calendar has been filled with this microwedding celebrations. In fact, this wedding only had 4 people in attendance – including the bride and groom. Because Priscilla’s parents were in Hong Kong, it was especially important that we capture every little moment to share with those who couldn’t attend.

While the Montalvo Arts Center usually hosts weddings up to 300, there is something so charming about being the only people on the property – meaning we got our pick of portrait and ceremony locations. If you squint your eyes just right, it almosttttt looks like we’re at a french chateau. 🙂

Despite this being the first time I met Priscilla and Evans in person, I felt instantly like I’ve known them for years. I was so grateful to be able to make them feel comfortable enough to get the more romantic portraits my couples know me for.
