Do you know what these Sedona engagement photos mean?! It’s time for another PVP Destination Engagement session – whoo! It’s actually my last of the summer!! It’s been a whirlwind of plane rides and better get: getting quality time with my incredible couples.

Katherine and Ryan actually met at work Austin, but in a real small world moment, they found out that they both attended Texas Tech  prior to meeting. In fact, they’re true Lubbock hometown sweethearts and love love love Tech sports! They got engaged while on a trip to NYC last December and Ryan popped the question by the Rockefeller Christmas tree. Katherine said she was totally surprised! What a perfect way to end the year.

Right before they got engaged, they found out that they were moving to ARIZONA! AH! What a change!!! Our paths crossed right before they made the move, which was perfect since they’re saying “I do!’ in Texas. It was a no brainer than we decided to take advantage of their new location for their engagement photos – the perfect acknowledgement of their new home and their desert roots.

I flew into Phoenix to meet up with these cuties and we set off on the two-house drive to Sedona. It was a first for all of us, making it an adventure! We gave ourselves the whole day to shoot at the best red rocks spots and can you believe it stayed until 95* because of the cool clouds we were graced with? Our favorite spot of the day was Rachel’s Knoll – special thank you to my photography friend Melissa Jill for the wonderful recommendation!
