Life flies by entirely too quickly, it feels like I was just getting on the phone to learn about Megan and Trent and now they’re officially married after their June Saddle Creek wedding!
If you remember from their engagement session, Trent and Megan met their sophomore year of college at ACU. They were both invited to a board game night in the lobby of one of the girl’s dorms. They were playing a game and their eyes locked across the table and Megan said it felt like the world stopped. They knew really early on that we wanted to get married. Now they’ve gone and DONE IT! AH!
They said “I do!” in the middle of the busiest seasons of their life. They both just finished college and are gearing up for a move to Colorado, so why not throw a wedding into the mix. Megan and Trent have the sweetest love – they’re both so kind and gentle with each other, but also so funny and sweet. They may be young, but with all the preparation they put into their marriage (not just the wedding), I know they’re in this for the long haul.
Their day was unique in that alllllll day it was SO, so sunny. Then just as we were heading outside for wedding party and couple’s photos, BOOM. A huge storm was heading right our way. If you look through the wedding party and couple photos, you can literally see the sky change from blue to black! Outside of the weather, I loved their color palette of baby blues and the rusticness of Saddle Creek Wedding – a brand new venue to the Austin-Dripping Springs area. Add the delicate floral details on those reception tables and I’m SOLD. Take a peep below!
