(see ya, tornado warnings, floods, power outages!)

We put so much pride in being a truly unique wedding photography experience. Between our professional experience and personal flare, we are certain you will love working with us from the moment you meet us through your first anniversary: we are on your team!

After you submit an initial inquiry, I will send you my pricing guide + confirm availability of your date!

We will schedule some time for a quick video call (more like a virtual happy hour!) to get to know each other and make sure we’re a good fit!

Once you decide we’d make a #dreamteam, I will send you a digital contract and retainer invoice to reserve your wedding date!

Your engagement session allows us to get to know each other more & allows you to get comfortable in front of my camera.

I will guide you through step-by-step in creating a wedding day timeline that focuses on what’s important to YOU and allows you to get the photos you’re most excited about!

Once we’re a few months out and you're planning all the last minute details, I will send you a questionnaire to help me prepare for every moment!

Frequently Asked Questions

How long have you been a photographer?

I’ve been a photographer since 2012! I first focused solely on portraits (think senior photos!), then began working as a wedding photographer’s assistant and second photographer where I quickly fell in love with weddings. I shot my first wedding in 2014 and never looked back!I'm a San Francisco Bay Area &  Austin, TX wedding photographer, here to make you feel like your best self while getting you down that aisle to your other half.

What kind of gear do you work with? Do you carry liability insurance?

For digital work, I photograph with professional grade, full frame Sony Alpha bodies (like the Sony A7Riii) and Sony G-Master lenses, along with a variety of other Godox flashes, light stands, MagMod light modifiers, etc. For my film work, I shoot with a Contax 645 and related lenses along with Porta 400H film. As for insurance, I carry a full service liability policy! If your venue needs a copy, just let us know.

Do you offer a second photographer? Do I need one?

Heck yes! Many of our packages come with one, and when our wonderful associate photographers don’t have their own weddings, they are often my second photographer! I also have a very small group of talented full-time photographers I use as seconds shooters when needed, too. A second shooter is incredibly useful if you two are getting ready at different locations, would like cocktail hour coverage (while we’re taking family photos) or have a guest count over 100! Usually guest counts of <100 are totally fine with just one photographer.

Should I book an engagement session?

Engagement sessions are not only important for capturing this special moment in time, but it's also the easiest way to have a relaxing and natural photography experience on your wedding day. You know what to expect and you're comfortable with the process, resulting in stunning, candid wedding photos. I like to think of it as a trial-run! I am more than willing to travel for engagement sessions! I actually love it when our couples ask us to photograph them in a location that means something special to them! We book engagement sessions at least two months in advance and 60 miles of roundtrip travel are included.

How many photos will I receive? And how do I receive them?

We average 75-100 images per hour that we’re shooting. We deliver all photos taken except for duplicates, blinks, test shots, etc. We love delivering our client’s photos quickly and easily via an online gallery. You will have the ability to print, share and download your images as much as you want. We believe in freely sharing our work because that is what we would want if we were in your shoes!

How many hours of photography coverage do we need?

Usually if you’re having your ceremony and reception in one location with a 20-30 minute ceremony (which is most common) 8 hours is perfect! If you’re having a longer ceremony or having a church wedding/venue reception, usually 10 hours is a safe bet. You can always add additional coverage as we get closer to the big day and we have a good idea of your timeline - no matter how many hours you choose, we will help you make the most of your coverage!

What’s your shooting style? How will you pose us?

I love being both interactive and discrete throughout the wedding day. There will be parts of the wedding day when I will need to be in control in order to accomplish everything that needs to be done while staying on schedule. There will also be moments when you won’t even know that I’m there. (The ceremony, during dances and toasts, etc.) We teach our couples how to pose natural (no awkward moments here!), and interact with one another to strike the right balance of “candid” and “posed”. :) Our editing style is classic, light and inspired by film, while staying rich in color!

Can you assist me with planning and logistics?

I know planning a wedding is the farthest thing from a walk in the park - trust me - I’ve planned a wedding too! As excited as you are, it can be overwhelming to plan something you've never done before. Good news is: you're not alone! I pride myself on being a project management queen (maybe it stems from my PR agency background) and I love being able to help my couple plan. From providing planning materials, creating a comprehensive timeline and timing your ceremony and portraits perfectly with the sunset, to pinning a boutonniere on a groomsman, your girl has got your BACK.

How do you back up our photos?

It is important to me that you have peace of mind, not just during your shoot, but after you go home and while you wait to see your images. I take data protection seriously, especially because these photos are you heirlooms. Because of this, I use a multitude of backup processes to keep your images safe, including using equipment that records to two memory cards simultaneously, keeping memory cards until your photos are delivered and having the digital files backed up on cloud storage. Photos are kept for one year after your session/wedding.

Do I own the copyright to the images in my collection?

Paige Vaughn Photo retains the copyright in order to ensure the editing quality is maintained, but you have full rights to print your photos anywhere you’d please and can post your photos anywhere you’d like!

We’re sold! How do we book you?

Once I have answered any questions you may have and you have decided that the PVP Wedding Experience is exactly what you’re looking for on your wedding day, the next step is an invoice and contract (all completed online). When you’re ready you can reserve your date by signing your contract and paying your retainer (40%) online. Once paid, the retainer amount is credited against your total package amount.

Tell Me About Your Wedding!

I can't wait to connect with you two.
