Hawthorne and Poppy Events, the creative minds behind the stunning design, crafted an experience that was as unique as Jana and Phil themselves. From custom toile patterns adorning Chinese takeout boxes to a 24-foot custom bar façade recounting their love story, every element was thoughtfully curated.

The couple's love for high fashion was evident in their attire, with Jana stunning in a custom Reem Acra gown and Phil dashing in a tailored Tom Ford suit. Their choice of accessories, including Dior pumps, Louboutin loafers, and heirloom jewelry, added a touch of sophistication and personal flair.

Guests were treated to a multi-course meal, a nod to Jana and Phil's shared love of food, and received personalized mix CDs as part of a modern seating chart. The reception floral installation, featuring the vibrant Viva Magenta, served as a breathtaking centerpiece, complementing the overall design.

The wedding also incorporated elements of Jana and Phil's Panamanian and Chinese heritage, such as live Panamanian dancers, cultural bracelets-turned-napkin rings, and custom toile Chinese takeout boxes, adding a rich tapestry of traditions to the celebration.

Jana and Phil's journey began at George Washington University in Washington D.C., where Phil, a few years senior, had a DJ side hustle that would later inspire many of the music elements at their wedding. After a memorable engagement in Newport, Rhode Island, the couple now resides in New York City with their beloved Sheepadoodle, Lexington, exploring the vibrant city and embracing new adventures together.
