Eric and Alyssa’s Gruene Estate wedding was such a reflection of their relationship. Equal parts fairy tail and comedy, the entire day echoed with their laugher and the many, many inside jokes that make up their friendship with one another.

From the moment they exchanged letters with one another, to the moment they walked down the aisle, the waterworks flowed as we witnessed two people who love each other SO dang much promise their lives to one another. During their vows, I was especially moved by the priest’s mention of embracing each other for who they are. For Alyssa, that means embracing Eric’s fun and spontaneous approach to life. For Eric, that means standing by Alyssa’s Type A tendencies and obsession with Disney movies. These sentiments, coupled with a Han Solo mention to boot (best priest EVER!) keep all of us crying until the very end.

I’ve been obsessed with Alyssa since I shot her graduation photos at Texas State year ago and became even more so during her and Eric’s engagement session this spring. Look at that smile! So imagine my delight to be able to capture this special day! Their light and happiness is contagious and it’s not hard to see why.
