There’s just something about fall in New York—it’s crisp, colorful, and bursting with magic. And when you add in a love story as sweet and real as Rajani and Phil’s? Pure perfection. Their fall New York engagement photos felt like walking through a rom-com, complete with golden leaves, cozy city corners, and all their favorite spots in Brooklyn.
We started the session where it all began—the bar where they had their first date. It was so special to revisit the place that sparked it all and capture the ease and connection between them. From there, we wandered through their favorite Brooklyn neighborhoods, laughing, storytelling, and soaking in that unmistakable NYC energy.
Every corner held meaning. Whether it was a tucked-away street or a go-to weekend stop, each location added depth to their gallery and made it feel uniquely them. The fall colors added the perfect touch of warmth and romance, wrapping the whole session in that cozy New York glow.
On a personal note: this one means a lot to me. Rajani is my sister-in-law (!!), and I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate her and Phil’s wedding in upstate New York this June. Being behind the camera for this milestone—and seeing their joy firsthand—was such a gift.
These fall New York engagement photos are more than just pretty portraits. They’re a tribute to beginnings, to shared history, and to the beautiful future ahead. Rajani and Phil, I’m counting down the days until your big “I do!”
If you loved these fall New York engagement photos, you’ll love this Townlake engagement session too!
