Few things capture Texas Hill Country magic quite like an October wedding at Escondido Golf & Lake Club. With golden sunlight, crisp air, and oak-lined views overlooking the water, Al and Monica’s Horseshoe Bay wedding was the perfect balance of joy, elegance, and effortless celebration.
Their vision—classic yet full of personality—came to life beautifully with the help of 787 Events. Every detail, from the florals to the fireworks, reflected the kind of intentional, guest-centered celebration that defines the best Escondido weddings.

The morning began in soft light as Monica got ready surrounded by her bridesmaids. Think Brink Beauty created a look that was timeless and radiant, complementing her stunning gown from Brickhouse Bridal. Her bridesmaids wore chic dresses from Birdy Grey, setting the tone for a palette of soft neutrals and warm terracotta accents.
Meanwhile, Al and his groomsmen prepared just across the property, sharing laughs and a few deep breaths before the ceremony—a perfect blend of anticipation and joy.
Under a canopy of oak trees, Terra Vista Strings filled the air with soft, romantic melodies. Monica and Al exchanged vows in front of family and friends, framed by a floral arch created by Bouquets of Austin. The setting couldn’t have been more perfect—warm, golden light filtering through the trees as the breeze danced across the lake.
It was one of those moments that felt suspended in time—an only-in-Texas kind of day.
The reception space was transformed into a warm, candlelit dreamscape by Unique Design & Events and ILIOS Production. Lush linens from BBJ La Tavola and a modern dance floor from Imperial Event Rentals created an elegant yet inviting atmosphere. Guests dined on an incredible meal prepared by the Escondido Club culinary team before indulging in desserts from Polkadots Cupcake Factory.
Danny Ray and the StEet Band brought the energy, keeping the dance floor packed all night long. As the evening came to a close, Half Off Fireworks lit up the Texas sky in a spectacular finale—an unforgettable ending to a perfect Horseshoe Bay wedding.
For one final personal touch, JLA Collective painted the celebration live—a keepsake the couple will cherish for decades to come.
From the custom stationery suite by Pink Champagne Designs to the cohesive design elements curated by Premiere Events and 4 Leaf Limo, every vendor played a role in making the day seamless.
Monica and Al’s approach was intentional yet relaxed—an October wedding that embraced natural light, laughter, and timeless design without losing a sense of fun.
