WHERE THE HECK DO I START WITH THIS DAY?! Sarah and Buddy’s downtown Austin Indian-American wedding was a whirlwind for all of us. Let me start off by saying Sarah and Buddy planned the whole day in THREEish months! (Don’t worry, we still did engagement photos!) Add the fact that we had two full weddings in one day (two ceremonies – one Hindu, one “American”, outfits each, two sets of family and wedding party photos, two “receptions” – one stationary Baratt and one dance party) AND it was raining for 10 of those hours. We also have a mehndi ceremony the day before – you get the picture – it was A LOT.
BUT I would be remiss to tell you that every single second of our 13 hours together was filled so much love and consideration it makes me cry to relive it all through these photos. I’ve never felt to close to families as I did on this day!
Sarah and Buddy are precious to me because they invested so heavily in our relationship AND the relationship with all their other vendors. It truly makes a difference, especially on a *longer* wedding day. Their day was an incredible blend of cultures and it was magical to see two families become one (all while seeing their precious Goldendoodle act as flower girl and enjoying Amy’s Ice Cream at the reception – DREAM WEDDING).
I have one more ending note: THE DANCING. HOLY CRAP, THE DANCING. I was so sore from getting out there with my couple, but my heart was so full! Did I mention Sarah let me request a Fergie song?! #soulmates
Here’s to forever to two of the most beautiful, kind, wonderful and hilarious people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. I love you dearly!
