Amanda and Scott’s Denver Botanic Gardens engagement photos are one of my favorite destination engagement sessions to date! We had so much fun exploring small nooks around the property while constantly being surprised by blooms EVERYWHERE.

This was the second time I got to hang out with Amanda and Scott – the first time being when they took a short trip to Austin this spring and invited the puppy and I to happy hour. When I arrived in Denver for their session, they welcomed me with open arms into their cute home (because let’s be real – I’m forever arriving to shoots too early). A couple of glasses of wine later, we started off this session on the right foot. It didn’t take long for me to realize that these two are some of the funniest, most genuine people I’ve ever met and now I’m so happy to have made new friends (not just clients!).

As for their story? Right before these two met, Amanda had just transferred to Denver from Dallas. They both work within the construction industry and it didn’t take long for them to meet at work. One thing led to another and Scott ended up inviting Amanda to a fake happy hour (as she puts it ;)). One thing led to another (+add in their three cats) and now these two are saying “I do!” at Mattie’s at Green Pastures this fall and I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate them with Simply XO Events!
