What happens when a Bahamian bride finds herself a Texan groom? The most colorful, fun tropical-meets-Texan Addison Grove wedding EVER!
I am honored to have been invited along to photograph XO Moreau’s designs for Brian and Lisa’s wedding at the Addison Grove. Getting to work alongside the talented XO Moreau for a wedding design is always such an honor. Alex is a super gifted planner and designer- no two weddings are ever the same!
Addison Grove is a barn and farm wedding venue located in the Texas Hill Country, just 20 minutes outside of downtown Austin. This unique event space provides the best of both worlds, with the option to have your wedding indoors and outdoors!
The ceremony site is nestled under a towering willow tree, which provided the most perfect light for Brian and Lisa’s tropical infused wedding arch.
This eye-catching wedding was a blend of Brian’s Texan heritage and Lisa’s Bahamian roots, creating the most vibrant, unique layered linens, bohemian textures, and thoughtful designs. The reception space featured a custom DJ booth with hanging lanterns covered in greenery for a statement above the dance floor, this wedding concept was a true show-stopper! There are so many amazing design elements that really brought this idea together.
