This Cactus Moon wedding is one for the books, y’all! Mike & Brit wanted to incorporate their love for the ’70s into their intimate Fall wedding at Cactus Moon Lodge in TX. With the help of their wedding planner and the Bride’s sister, Andria Leigh Events, they infused a hippy vibe, with pastel pops making it unique to this easygoing and fun-loving couple.
From the vibrant florals and open-air courtyard for their reception, the couple created personalized experiences for their guests to enjoy. Guest found their seats on the mushroom-themed seating chart “I love you so Mush” which is a play on Austin’s famous mural, they could take photos inside a vintage pink Volkswagen photo booth, leave the couple messages on their blue rotary dial telephone audio guestbook.
The couple’s dog, Sunni, appeared in their invitation suite, welcome sign, a signature drink, and even walked Brit down the aisle as he waited for Mikaela to be escorted by her father. And what better way to keep the party going than with a silent disco party and glitter bar, which is a nod to their love for music festivals.
