There is something incredibly special about capturing Austin newborn photos—especially when it’s for one of our past wedding couples. From their engagement to their wedding day, and now as they welcome their sweet baby boy, it has been the greatest joy to document Jessica and Jeff’s story.
If you missed their earlier milestones, you can see their romantic Woodbine Mansion engagement photos and their elegant black and gold winter wedding at Woodbine Mansion. Each moment has been filled with so much love and joy, and their newborn session was no exception.
Jeff and Jessica first met eight years ago on Hinge. What started as one of Jessica’s very first matches quickly became the love of her life. Together, they’ve built a beautiful home in southwest Austin with their cat Chloe.
In July 2022, Jeff proposed in Park City the day before Jessica’s birthday. With their closest family and friends gathered for what they thought was just a Fourth of July vacation, Jeff surprised everyone by asking Jessica to be his wife.
They celebrated their wedding in December 2023 with a dreamy “winter wonderland” celebration at Woodbine Mansion, complete with black and gold accents and all their favorite people.
Now, their story continues as they step into their newest role as parents to baby Brooks.
Baby Brooks’ newborn session was full of tender, timeless moments. We focused on capturing those fleeting newborn details—tiny fingers and toes, soft yawns, and the quiet joy of his first days at home.
Some of my favorite images were of Jessica cradling Brooks with the most serene smile, and Jeff leaning in close, completely smitten with his son. The session was a beautiful reflection of their love story—simple, heartfelt, and full of connection.

Photography is about more than just documenting milestones—it’s about telling the full story of a family. From the excitement of a proposal to the joy of a wedding, and now the tender beginnings of parenthood, each season deserves to be remembered.
For Jessica and Jeff, these newborn portraits connect seamlessly to their love story, creating a living legacy they’ll cherish for years.
If you’re considering newborn photos for your family, here are a few tips to make the most of the experience:
Schedule within the first two weeks after birth, when babies are sleepiest and easiest to pose.
Choose between in-home lifestyle portraits or a natural-light studio, depending on your style.
Focus less on perfection and more on connection—the way you look at your little one will always be the most powerful part of the image.
