I can’t tell you how much I’ve been looking forward to these Austin South Congress engagement photos with Bonnie and Scott! From the moment I started talking to Bonnie, we bonded – we may have spent 1 hour and 45 minutes on our initial call just gabbing about weddings, long distance relationship, mutual interests, dogs – you name it. It’s clear that Bonnie has a heart of gold and any one she loves, I was sure I could love, too soiIt got me even more excited to meet Scott! BOY, let me tell you: you’ll be hard press to find a couple that’s sweeter than these two!

As for a little more about them, Scott and Bonnie met in 2014 at an event B’s sorority was hosting. A good friend, who Bonnie’s known for well over 15 years, showed up to the event with Scott and introduced them and well: it was a great match and they’ve been together ever since! Some 2018, Scott had big plans for how to propose. Bonnie had ALWAYS wanted to see The Nutcracker. It was December 15, 2018, and all Bonnie’s Nutcracker dreams were coming true – they were on their way to see the show! To make a long story short, they did NOT end up seeing the Nutcracker, rather, Scott took her to the place he asked her to be his girlfriend almost 4 years earlier and asked her to marry him (SWOON). In Bonnie’s words: “it was the most incredible, joyous day, one that I will never forget. And saying “yes” to forever with Scott definitely softened the blow of not seeing The Nutcracker… 😛 We plan on going this year…”

Right after they see the Nutcracker, they are getting MARRIED at the South Congress Hotel, making this the perfect spot to do their engagement photos!
