Being a part of Chris and Justin’s Stonehouse Villa Wedding left me smiling from ear-to-ear the entire time I was driving home from Driftwood. From getting ready together to walking down the aisle together to breaking it down on the dance floor to Destiny’s Child, I had tears in my eyes seeing how deeply these two love each other. They both got a little choked up during their vows, but they also were bent over laughing with their family and friends as Justin’s cousin officiated their ceremony.
There were family and friends from almost every corner of the U.S. (bolo ties laced around their necks, of course!), all of them had come to witness these two seal the deal after falling madly and deeply in love while in Arizonia (see their story here). Beyond all of this, what really got me were the maids of honors speeches. I’ll never forget how Kelly wished for Chris and Justin to continue to meander through life together, just as they meandered into each others’ lives unexpectedly, and to enjoy the time in this life they have together. *tear*
Beyond the sentimental moments (and believe me – there were plenty), I appreciated how laid-back, organized and relaxed this wedding was. That’s not to say details were skipped – they weren’t, but everyone’s loving attitude and focus on *why* were were all gathered kept everyone excited to celebrate and love on these two incredible men (even as the impending rain threatened to ruin our fun – thankfully it stayed away!!)
I’m honored to have taken part in your day, Chris and Justin – I adore you so much!
