Most of the time, I meet my couples in-person for the first time during their engagement session (since I mostly do FaceTime and phone consults), but I got to meet Jess + John TWICE before their downtown Austin engagement photos. Jessica is an incredible potter, so I met her and John at a local craft show to support their small biz – THEN they supported me by coming to say hi at The Swoon Event in January!

It didn’t take long for me to fall for these two as they plan their al fresco wedding at Mercury Hall (#obsessed). These two both grew up in Kansas, but met in Italy 2009 through a study abroad program (what are the odds, right?!) John proposed while they were hiking at Lost Maples last year (again…swoon). The wedding will be on their TENTH anniversary. Love love LOVE. They love this city and this city loves them right back!
