The awful rain seems to have finally ceased in Texas, just in time for these swoon-worth historic Pearl Brewery engagement photos with Lauren and Travis. These two love birds met during their master’s program in Fort Worth  and became good friends and library study partners. Lauren said “Always at separate tables, gotta spread out your study supplies if you know what I mean!” and then slowly started hanging out more and more.

In their first year of medical school (oh, did I mention these two ridiculously good looking people are DOCTORS?!…okay, I’ll continue), they started dating and made it through all of the tough things that come along with medical school. They were able to match together in San Antonio.

Lauren shared a little bit about their engagement with me “Because he takes care of adults and I take care of kids, we FINALLY got an overlapping vacation 1.5 years in. We traveled to San Francisco and Muir Woods where I was all geared up with my knee brace and athletic gear, when he said “Are you sure you don’t want to wear your boots or something more cute?” which clued me into the possible engagement time quick approaching. We hiked up to Canopy View Trail and he proposed underneath the Giant Redwoods! We enjoyed a champagne and dessert celebration at Scoma’s and the rest of our vacation traveling up and down the California coastline, down to Monterey Bay to the Aquarium and up north along the Pacific Coast Highway.”

I know, I know. They’re perfect! I can’t wait until they tie the knot here in Austin in the spring (and work with my good friend Kristin at Kristin Catter Events!)
