I’m super excited to share these New Orleans engagement photos because they happened totally serendipitously! Kelsey and Josh were in town for the Taylor Swift concert in NOLA (just like me!) and our schedules perfectly aligned to meet up our last morning in town before we all flew home! We had so much fun traipsing around Lafayette Square and Magazine Street to find romantic corners filled with the french influencer I love so dearly.

Kelsey and Josh met in Baltimore in February 2016 and had their first date the same day Kels put in her two weeks notice at my job. She was moving to Chicago to work at an art museum but couldn’t resist Josh’s persistence to go on a date before she moved. They connected instantly and spent as much time together as they could in those next two weeks before they decided to do long distance. Long distance ended up being a fun adventure for these two as they traveled every weekend to Durham, Maryland or wherever Josh worked at the time. Kelsey said she knew he was the one for her  by date #3 back in Baltimore, but when he surprised her in Chicago for her birthday, she realized he knew they were meant to be, too.

Eventually they made the move to Durham, NC and got engaged in Paris in front of the Louvre a few days before Kelsey’s 30th birthday earlier this year. I love these two because Kelsey said “We have no idea what kind of wedding we want or when we want to have it, but we are just loving being engaged!” Who can argue with an adorable love story like that?!
