I can’t believe it’s been almost a month since Jacqui and Travis tied the knot at their garden-inspired wedding at Hummingbird House Austin! This day was filled with so much joy and happiness, made even more special by the intimate nature of the day. Both the bride and groom had one member of their wedding parties and only their closest friends and family partied the night away with them.
Throughout this entire process, Jacqui and Travis have prioritized being intentional with their day. Over Mother’s Day weekend, they honored Jacqui’s mom’s sweet memory in a garden (she always loved gardens) and the actual day of the wedding was bright, sunny and relaxed, just like the couple themselves. Besides seeing the excitement of J + T when they were announced husband and wife, my favorite moment was when the anniversary dance kicked off the reception, which their grandparents winning with 65 years of marriage. I couldn’t help but start crying! Even their engagement session from this spring was sentimental and sweet!
More than anything, these two wanted their wedding to feel like THEM, not like anyone else. It was incredibly moving to witness such love and respect and what I’m most excited about now is to see these two cultivate a life together, love others well and continue to adventure all other the world.
Special thank you to the amazing vendors who made his day a reality!
