It’s easy to want the work year to be over so one can enjoy Christmas and the new year, but not for me! I was counting down the days until Caroline and Joe’s wedding. We spent months leading up to the big day coordinating via emails, calls and texts, and it all went by so quickly – I could hardly believe the day was here! The Sunday morning started out peaceful and bustling, with their amazing family assembling all the day’s details – I was smitten with the dusty blue and rustic bohemian details. More than anything, the day was filled with joy, appreciation and excitement. Caroline and Joe had just made the trip from Virginia a couple days before and decided to get married just down the road from “home” at Cathedral Oaks in Belton, Texas.

I can’t describe the gratitude in my heart when I watched them pray together before the ceremony (and keeping Caroline hidden, of course!) You could tell they were bursting at the seams to say “I do!” – when it came time to finally do just that, the chapel full of loved ones erupted in applause: Caroline and Joe were now Mr. and Mrs. Dominguez!

The reception that followed was just as heartfelt and fun! I just loved their exit. 🙂 Take a peek below!
