From the moment I stepped into their home, I could feel the warmth and love surrounding this new little family. Danielle and Steve were radiant in that unique way only new parents are – a mix of joy, tenderness, and awe as they held their daughter close.

A Cozy Morning with Austin Newborn Photography

We began in Hallie’s nursery, where soft neutral tones and delicate details set the perfect backdrop for her first portraits. Danielle gently rocked Hallie in the chair she had envisioned using long before she arrived, while Steve leaned in with a proud, quiet smile that said everything about the love he already feels for his daughter.

Her nursery design reminded me of some of my favorite inspiration from Project Nursery – warm, intentional, and deeply personal.

Some of my favorite images from this session are the little in-between moments – Hallie’s tiny fingers curled around her dad’s thumb, her sleepy stretches, and the way Danielle melted into her daughter as if the world around them had gone quiet.
