Cassie and Steve’s engagement photos didn’t start out with the intention of being holiday-themed, but once I saw the front of the Hays County Courthouse, I suckered them into my holiday obsession. I mean – COME ON. Look at those wreaths! And Cassie’s red lip and stunner heels! Who could say no?! That paired with the fact that Steve engaged right before last Christmas, their sixth year anniversary is coming up AND they may have their wedding next December – it was pretty much mandatory at that point.

These cuties met at Texas State (EAT ‘EM UP CATS!!) through mutual friends, and like true Texas State students, they had their first date at Treff’s Taven (San Marcos people – are you obsessed like I am, yet?) They spent the new few years having on-campus dates at The Den and meeting up between classes. All of this to say, San Marcos was the perfect the backdrop for their engagement session – I was so happy to have them down from Houston for the weekend. These two are the epitome of a PVP couple – they are fun, easygoing and totally enamored by each other.
