It was such an honor to document my best friend Holly’s Woodbine Mansion bridal photos. We’ve done it all together and trust me – you are going to want to see their whole journey – Holly and AJ’s proposal photos HERE, engagement photos HERE, and wedding photos HERE.
NOW, onto Holly’s beautiful bridals! Because Holly is an incredible wedding photographer herself, we wanted to skip the stuffy obligatory bridal photos and jump right into the fun stuff. We ran around, we played, we danced, and we played with my old school film cameras to add a bit of moody personality to the photos. Not only is a bridal session a fun way to test drive your wedding look, but a chance to incorporate meaningful aspects (like a vintage car to represent AJ’s love of cars and their joint love of all things nostalgic) or a fun location (like Woodbine Mansion). She brought in the removable sleeves to add to the 80s prom night vibe — and if you saw their wedding, you totally understand why it’s PERFECT for the celebration these two had in mind.
It was so much fun to cheer Holly on, and it was so excited to see our vendors friends (like Abbie from Blumen Floral) flex their creative muscles and bring this magical vision to lift.
I love you to the moon and back, Hollz!!
