Holly and AJ’s modern and colorful Camino Real Ranch wedding was inspired by a fun Palm Springs aesthetic – and did I mention they are my best friends, too?! Not only was I a bridesmaid for these two, I also doubled as their photographer (with the help of my amazing second shooters Lacey + Eryn, and my assistant Diana!!). It was an utterly ambitious mission to take on, but at the end of the day, it was so worth it to see my favorites get married after THREE years of engagement and multiple postponements (you might remember their proposal HERE and their D.C. engagement photos HERE).

Holly and AJ have been together for 10 years – making them high school sweethearts. So much of their love story is engrained with nostalgia – they’ve grown up together, they love the 80s – cars/movies/fashion/neon/you name it, and have a deep-rooted adoration for the tropical retro vibes of Palm Springs California. It was a no brainer that this vibe translated so well to their wedding day.
