Shannon and Patric’s black tie Driskill Hotel wedding photos will knock your socks off – especially if you love downtown Austin weddings as much as I do! This was Shannon and Patric’s third wedding date because of COVID-19 reschedules, and I’m so grateful that third time’s a charm 😉

Then I asked Shannon what her most anticipated moment of the wedding was, she said “I can’t wait until we are FINALLY husband and wife! It has been a lifetime of planning, COVID, ups and downs to finally get to our day…” I couldn’t agree more!

Shannon and Patric have been together almost 9 years. They met in El Paso, Texas, her hometown, where she had just moved back after graduating college. He was stationed at Fort Bliss. They met at a bar and after rain checking him over three times during that summer, she finally gave in and said yes to dinner. They’ve done deployment, law school, business school, long distance a million times, and everything else, which made this celebration even sweeter.

Their wedding weekend was rainy up until the stroke of midnight before their wedding day, and suddenly the clouds parted, the sun came out, and it was an incredibly beautiful day: fit for two people who have been through so much.
