This 800 Congress Wedding is one of my very favorites! I had the privilege of getting to know Marianne + Steve quite well during their wedding planning process (you may remember their engagements here!), which made it super sad when it was all over. It’s couples like them that make me realize how stupid blessed I am by this job. Not to mention, Marianne is the best type of bride, aka the type of girl who invites you to yoga and happy hour, introduces to new Ariana Grande songs, sends you hilarious texts and all around is just the cutest little babe 😍 If you know them, you know that Marianne + Steve are always going the extra mile (like…literally always traveling) to spend quality time with their family and friends. Their day was an extension of that!

The day started out at the Line Hotel downtown, then over to North Austin for a Saint Louis King of France for their ceremony (this was my childhood Catholic Church!) and then over to the Capital for photos and 800 Congress for the reception. You think with so many locations, the day would have been hectic, but it couldn’t have been more smooth. (God bless great planners, right?! Kierstin of Lovely Day Events, Marianne + Steve made a great team when designing this day!)

Hands down, the best part of this 800 Congress wedding day was seeing Marianne and Steve seeing each other for the first time during the first look. Tears were shed, hugs were shared and laughs ensued (see below!) I could visibly see them both relax after they saw each other -and more than anything, they were READY to get MARRIED and party with all their loved ones! As for me, I got to work with some of my FAVORITE vendors EVER from the planner, to the make up artists, florist, photo booth – all of it made my heart fill with joy, even after an intense 12 hours of shooting.
