Almost six years after they started dating, Jenn, Elliott and I got together to have the ULTIMATE downtown Austin / South Congress engagement photos. Elliott and Jenn met in Baltimore when she moved from Austin to teach (fun fact: she taught at an all-boys school for three years, how fun is that?!) For her birthday, she decided to go out with friends and ended up at a bar. She told me “if you ask Elliott, he will tell you he saw me staring him down across the room (I do not remember this happening!)” She got up the nerve to say hi and before they knew it, three days later, he called her to ask her out on a date (burgers, of course!)

These two are still living in D.C., but Jenn is a Texan, through and through, and Elliott popped the question by way of a mariachi band in her home city of Houston. But, make no mistake, Jenn’s love for Austin started with Jenn’s degree at UT. The combination of the laid-back, fun and *warmness* of Central Texas sealed the fate for Jenn + Elliott to host their December wedding at The Terrace Club 🙂 I’m honored to get to be a part of their big day!
