I love getting to know my clients during their engagement sessions. It’s such a wonderful time for us to connect while I help you feel comfortable in front of the camera! These engagement photos in Downtown Austin were extra sweet because Mallorie is an old friend of mine, we met during our days when I was still working my 9-5 job in the corporate world before I launched Paige Vaughn Photo. I distinctly remember the day Mallorie came into the office gushing about this cute guy she met online. Immediately smitten with Mason, they became a couple and I got to watch their relationship blossom and grow!
When brainstorming session locations, we quickly realized that the perfect spot would be the Lamar Pedestrian Bridge here in Downtown Austin, right where they got engaged. Going back there for photos was so enjoyable for all of us. Mallorie and Mason loved being right back in the place where they had such a beautiful memory and I was obsessed with all the different spots for great portraits! We reminisced about their late summer proposal and the epic party Mason planned right afterwards with all their family and friends. Knowing how important her close circle of people were, Mason made sure that everyone was there to celebrate with them right away and it totally melted Mallorie’s heart. (If she didn’t already know she wanted to marry Mason, that would have sealed the deal!)
Fall in Austin really can’t be beat when it comes to photos. The crisp air and golden tones of the changing leaves really add an extra sparkle to any session. These engagement photos in Downtown Austin were such a treat to capture and I can’t wait for these UT fans to tie the knot at the Allan House next fall!
P.S. Another downtown Austin engagement session is on the blog here.
