Paige and I started emailing earlier this year! She just KNEW that the question was coming and she wanted to be ready when it did. Paige (great name, right?!) jokingly told me she knew the ring had been bought and that we just had to work together. I was immediately taken with how easygoing and loveable Paige was and I was so stinkin’ excited to get the “I SAID YES!” photo in my inbox – not only did that mean we FINALLY got to work together, but that Paige and Shan were going to get to be together forever. 🙂 All that planning led to these classic summertime engagement photos by my home in East Austin.
Paige is originally from Victoria, Texas and once she left for school at Texas A&M, she never thought she’s come back. Little would she know, Victoria pulled her back in with a post-grad job in healthcare HR.
Shan, a University of Alabama grad, serendipitously also ended up in Vcitoria, of alllllll the places his company moves people to, and to the very same company as Paige.
Paige onboarded this ambitious bachelor and did not think they were meant to be (LOL). It took almost a year for them to work together again. As Paige describes it, “As time went on we developed a very strong friendship that molded into what is now our relationship. Our first trip away together was a 10 hour river float. We believe that if we can survive a 10-hour river float together, then we are meant to be.”
After years past, Shan popped the question on the San Antonio Riverwalk on St. Patrick’s Day in a caoatic turn of events with a parade happening directly beneath their hotel room. Thank goodness Paige already knew the answer! 😉
I can’t wait for their Mansion at Colovista wedding in the spring!
