AH! You know I love a good set of Bull Creek engagement photos! This session was no different!
Trent and Megan met their sophomore year of college at ACU. They were both invited to a board game night in the lobby of one of the girl’s dorms. We were playing Battle of the Sexes and their eyes locked across the table and Megan said it felt like the world stopped (DEAD, I know.). They knew really early on that we wanted to get married. Little did Megan know, he had actually bumped the timeline up a month to surprise her. His family had just moved from Colorado to Alabama and Trent talked Megan in to coming to visit in Alabama to “see the house” and “help unpack.” What really happened was Trent had orchestrated a scavenger hunt around Alabama leading up to a proposal at an Alabama estate called Gorham’s Bluff.
The proposal took place at the gazebo overlooking the hills and the Tennessee River. It was completely stunning and MEgan said she has never felt more loved. The amount of detail and planning that Trent did was incredible and the proposal could not have been more perfect. After she said yes, her entire family came out of the estate where they had been hiding. She had no idea they were there! Their families event got to sit down to dinner together afterward – how sweet is that?!
I cannot WAIT for their Saddle Creek wedding! There is nothing better than a brand-spankin-new wedding venue!
