Diana and Austin’s Austin downtown engagement photos (say that five times fast! ;)) are some of my favorites since we tried out a brand new spot to capture the skyline and BOY – did it pay off! These two are just so much fun and are definitely such a joyful couple!! The first time I met these two in-person was for their engagement photos, though it felt like we’d known each other for years! They hardly stopped smiling the entire time! You’ll quickly see from their photos that they just light up around each other.

Diana is originally from the Bay Area, and Austin? Well he’s a Texas boy who found his was to California. They met their senior year in high school and been dating ever since – they’ll be getting married close to their nine year anniversary (just like my pals Holly and AJ!)! He played baseball and she played softball: talk about the perfect meet-cute! They both did their undergraduate course work in Austin, but recently have been in Dallas for work and grad school – she’s in occupational therapy and he’s in finance. Talk about a pair! And given their Bay Area roots, he proposed last year in Napa. SWOON! OH did I also mention that they have a beagle?! This couple is the dream team!

It made perfect sense to do their engagement photos the day before the huge UT vs. LSU game – notice Diana dress: HOOK ‘EM YALL (but don’t tell my parents I said that…they’re huge LSU fans, whoops! ;)).

The first thing I noticed about Diana and Austin is how unbelievably comfortable they are with each other. It made it so much easier to do twirls and snuggle in the Texas heat.

I’m so excited for their wedding at Gather Monroe next summer!
