Alex and Matt married on a warm day in the Houston Heights. It’s rare that I’ve seen two people so loved as these two. Each person in attendance radiated so much warmth towards Alex and Matt that it was emotional just to be in the presence of such affection. After working with Alex for the last year and a half, I’m so, so sad the wedding is over but overjoyed that Alex and Matt get to be together forever.
Their Heights Villa wedding was romantic, moody, personal and intimate – filled with tiny details that were so them. From letters they read before they saw each other at the alter, to the processional is an acoustic version of Wagon Wheel (a song from their freshman year) – all the details were meaningful and intentional. My favorite moment was when Alex and Matt shared their first dance – Alex mentioned to me that their favorite part of planning – taking dance lessons together – and MAN it showed. 🙂
I asked Alex what her advice is to other brides, “Do whatever makes you both happy. Don’t try and “keep up with the Jones’s”. If you are happy together that’s ultimately what matters most.” Thank you Alex + Matt for being your beautiful, easy-going, amazing selves. I love you both dearly!
Huge thank you to the vendor team that made this happen!
